Guitar Excercises

TeamNext Excercises

These exercises are one of my biggest secrets for building your chops and fluidity. One of the advantages of having a violist/violinist for a wife is that I get exposed to classical string methodology. Violinists have been shredding for a lot longer than guitar players and they have some great technique materials that guitarists have yet to take advantage of. Schradieck’s – School of violin technics is a great technique book and I will be posting tabs to many of the exercises here. Be sure to take each exercise slowly and use proper form. Because the exercises can be repetitive make sure to stretch properly before beginning and rest frequently. Do Not Over Do It. Use one of these exercises each day as a warmup and always stop before you feel discomfort in your hands wrists or elbows. Make sure to stay relaxed. With careful attention to these exercises you will notice your chops and fluidity increase significantly. I like to call these the Shredieck exercises. Have Fun!
